Our client is a global brand within the Sports, Apparel and Fashion industry. They are looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager, SEA to be based in the Singapore office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carrying out overall Logistics and Warehouse matters on a tactical and operation level. 
  • Develop, control, and manage the operation of logistics flow unique to the in-house company (managing warehouse, receiving, order receipt, shipping, returns, and post-return operations).
  • Track on-time delivery (inbound & outbound). 
  • Manage regional transfer actions (exports & imports) within the in-house company.
  • Monitor and update promptly of the confirmed vs requested production/delivery schedule of each milestone dates to give each stakeholder a clear picture for production/delivery status for sales deliveries.
  • Report and give insight to the stakeholders on potential excess or shortages in inventory
  • Monitor operation and partner with logistics provider to drive continuous improvement and ensure successful logistics flow through achievement of KPI.
  • Manage logistics cost and invoices.
  • Devise logistics strategies and analyse performance by channel for retail, eCommerce, and wholesale for the in-house company.

What they are looking for

  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or supply chain management with a minimum of 5 years of logistics / supply chain management, operation experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience managing Logistics partners (3PL).
  • Experience in retail industries such as fashion (apparel/footwear) and cosmetics is a must.
  • Knowledge regarding the trading laws and regulations of SEA countries (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia).
  • Able to prepare and conduct logistic management to meet the delivery date by managing uncertainty effectively.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to work hands-on.
