Job Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 15.
- Ensure that the company assigned financial and productivity targets are met.
- Undertake the organization and management of warehouse operations to ensure smooth operations including supplier management, for process optimization & enhancement, as well as to ensure satisfactory result (customer satisfaction, Business Unit targets, and compliance to relevant requirements).
- Ensure the accurate Standard Operating Procedures / workflow is in place, reviewed for efficiency and respected by team.
- Implement effective initiatives to contain costs and improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure proper manpower utilization and adequate tools / equipment’s in place.
- Implement and execute logistics strategies.
- Liaise with customers to maintain current businesses and for the development of new businesses.
- Ensure conformity of workplace - regulations, OHS / hygiene, and relevant requirements.
What they are looking for
- Are you an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager or Contract Logistics expert within the Freight Forwarding industry?
- At least a Degree holder in logistics or related with 7 year experience or more within the Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Transportation industry.
- 5 years of prior supervisory or team management experience.
- Knowledge of warehousing in a 3PL environment.
- Highly proficient on WMS management.
- Sound knowledge of OHS.
